Ripoff, hotel employees trashed room after checkout! They blamed me and charged me $150 Dishonest Liars!

Do not stay at Radisson Hotels, they are dishonest and liars!!!

I would just like to bring to peoples attention a rather disturbing situation that we are involved in with Radisson hotels. Last night we stayed in a room that was kindly upgraded to a suite ($150 difference in price), had a great night and proposed to my girlfriend.

The same evening we wanted to go out on the balcony and look at the bay. I pulled the curtains back and at the same time the rack that the curtain slides on came disconnected and bent down a little bit. I tried to fix the rack by reattaching it but wasn't able to (the rack and curtains are from like 1970). We actually woke up rather early in the morning from the sunlight, due to the blinds being broken and the shades could not be drawn.

After we checked out and went home we were notified of a 150 xtra charge and were verbally insulted and hung up on twice by the manager. We were told numerous lies about our room being " trashed" We were told there was a cigarette burn in the bed when in fact we don't smoke, never have, and had a 3yr old son in the room. We were told food was thrown and wine was spilled when we actually catered in a 5 course dinner and ordered breakfast which left a hefty amount of trays/plates but NO food thrown, how insulting.

Also we finished the entire bottle of wine with dinner and would never have left such a mess. I cannot explain much more for i am extremely upset, and furious how i was treated for a stay at the Radisson hotel. I went a little crazy on the phone with him when he was completely rude and tried to hang up on me. My fiance called after me and he insulted her numerous times and hung up when she 100% calmly asked if she could be emailed pictures or figure out why there would be such a description of this room.

Leaving the hotel we notified the desk that the curtains had been broken and just want to let her know it wasn't anything we did. The " front desk manager" was extremely rude and insulting. If there was such a mess in our room they should have to prove that to us, not insult us and its kind of funny how they avoid our calls and won't even send us the pictures.

It's pretty sad that 100 days a year we travel and stay in hotels, actually for 3 yrs now and have never once been charged one single fine. It's also funny how the charge of $150 equals the amount of the upgraded room. If you ask me, it sounds like a manager got some heat for upgrading a guest on valentines day (they were sold out) and had to make up for the cost.

It would be a wise choice to choose from any of the other great hotel choices in your city and God forbid don't stay at this one.
