I recently bought a timeshare from Fairfield Resorts in Las Vegas, and I have not received a penny of what I paid for since I began my membership! First of all, the sales offered me discounts on airfare for Fairfield Gold members, as well as free vacation packages. None of those existed.
Also, I received so many "offers" from telemarketers. One of them offered me a stay at the all-new Bonnet Creek hotel in Orlando. Because I was interested in the new hotel, I purchased the offer.
Later, when I went to confirm my reservation, Bonnet Creek was conveniently not one of the choices.in fact, it was never an option from the beginning! It's not like I even asked for that hotel in the first place... The sales rep called ME and offered it first! So on my vacation to Orlando, I had to purchase my own hotel accomodations separately! What an outrage!
The availability of Fairfield's timeshares is ridiculous! I would love to find out about a class action lawsuit.
