Do Not Trust Agents Travel Network! They called me, and told me that they were with the Better business bureau, and that they had already had my information from some other site. I don't know where or how they got it, but it really upsets me.
I did agree for the free trial thing, because she told me that NOTHING would be charged from my account. Later when I talked to my husband about the phone call he told me to call them back and cancel right away! So I canceled the very next day, twice on their automatic tellers, and I called and spoke to some guy who was trying to convince me not to cancel, and when I told him that's all I wanted to do, he said, " Fine! Bye!" And hung up on me.
Then they charged my account $59.95. After I noticed that I immediatly called them, and told them that I had already canceled, and they still charged me, and they told me that they would send a check out, and it would take 5 to 7 business days.
Well, I waited, and I didn't see the check in the mail for two weeks. I then called back several more times, each of the times I called they told me that there was a check in the mail and it would take 5 to 7 business days. Well, it's been over 2 months now, and still nothing.
I then came across this site, and tried doing what it suggested. Which was to go to the bank, and file a dispute. The bank told me I had to get a report from the police, and then they would have to do something about it, but the bank couldn't give me any of my money back.
When I talked to the cop, and called Agents Travel Network, and spoke to a woman on there, who told him that we needed to contact Mellissa Russell, who is a manager. And the cop told me that this was a civil dispute, and there wasn't much he could do about it, but to call him and let him know how this all went.
The next morning I called and asked for Mellissa Russell, but the person who answered told me that she can't transfer me to a manager. That she had to help me first, and find out my information so she could pull up my account. So I told her my name, phone number, and address... And she looked up my account.
Then she told me that they just sent the Emergency credit loan check out today. I told her, " That's what I've heard so many times!" Then I asked if I could still speak to Mellissa, then she said, " You don't need to speak with her because she doesn't do the emergency credits!" So I said, " WHO DOES DO THAT THEN?" "Hold on Please!" She said, (in a very annoyed tone of voice.)
Then I guess she transfered me to someone else, and I asked to talk to Mellissa again... This time the lady told me that Sherry brown, (who was talking to the cop) wasn't supposed to tell me to talk to Mellissa Russel and that they would have her call me right when she got into work... Which she never did!
They just tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone! Don't ever believe anything they say! I hope people read these before it's too late! I don't care about the money, I just care about what they did to me, and what they are doing to others! This is just not right!!!
