I was contacted today. I also won!!! But then came the catch and I had to pay for it. I listened some more because they told their story very convincing. Then she told me that this conversation was taped as proof. Then she wanted to know things about my visa card such as the number. I believe she already had my number because she wanted to go over it to be sure I guess. But I didn't let her finish the number and told her that I wasn't gonna give my number over the phone and that I wasn't going to decide right there in that instant. So I did never give her permission to use my cc.
By the way, I read the other reports, but in my case they were very sweet and enthousiastic (not rude) on the phone and seemed to be professionals so if this is a scam look out cause they are great performers.
They went by the name A star travel. Their webspace is only been hired for one year so that could mean they plan to change name next year!
My question is if I should be worried now that my card will still be used by them? I told them clearly that I wasn't taking the deal at this time. So they can't hold that tape against me because I never gave permission, I did tell her ofcourse that I was interested but that was before I found out I still had to pay 989$ for four persons.
