Our debit card (through Chase/Bank One) was recently debited on both 7/19 & 8/19/05 by Travelers Advantage for $9.99. We never heard of them or signed up for this membership. The company did say they will credit our account, and gave us the name, address and phone # of the supposed person who has used our debit card (someone we don't know in another state). After reading Gary's posting, I'm thinking this is all one big scam through Chase's affiliates who either broke into the system, or someone has our acct.info. When we called Bank One, they said they've had many people report Travelers as debiting their accounts! What's up with this? Should we close our account with Chase?
