Ripoff of a chargeoff acct in collection, after paid in full refusal to report payment to original company

Original purchase was with rooms to go they sublet their accounts to companies such as Citifinancial... After moving my payment coupons stopped coming. The account eventually became derogatory falling into the hands of Travelers Bank. After trying to correct the situation I have payed the account in full and Travelers Bank has refused to make good on their end of receiving the funds. This account now shows derogatory on both Citifinancial and with Travelers Bank. I am still being hit twice on my Credit Report with this same account. There is nothing that Citifinancial can do because they sold my account to Travelers Bank.
