We needed to change our travel date due to a change in date for a 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration (a once-in-a-lifetime event) which we planned to attend. Even though at the time we originally filled out the on-line request, it asked for my (VISA) information, so that in the event an airline accepted my offer, we could decide by pressing a "Buy My Tickets Now" button (which did not exist in this case) whether to complete the transaction or not. However, after exiting the itinerary page, the transaction was completed without my authorization. When we went back in later to check our e-mails, there was a message from Priceline which stated that our reservations had been confirmed.
After spending practically all day with a myriad of customer service reps, we finally received an e-mail stating that our concerns would be reviewed and improvements made. We even received an e-mail from a Customer Service Specialist stating, "We apologize if you are not dissatisfied with out service. Customers are our number one priority, and we work hard to make your experience with us a positive one. Your feedback is appreciated. We apologize for the inconvenience."
Priceline is a totally deceptive organization run by thieves and con artists that hide behind a rigid, inflexible policy to disguise their fraudulant practices. We will never use their services again and will steer family and friends away from this calloused organization which engages in "highway robbery."
