Ripoff consumer fraud ripoff tricked and lied to us consumer fraud ripoff Nationwide

Don't be fooled and ripped off by priceline! We learned a $860 lesson.

Three bids were placed for airline tickets for $200, $215, & $245. If you have ever used Priceline.com you know you cannot rebid on a rejected offer immediately.

I got confirmation on rejections and out of no where a fourth bid was place with the exact same info 15 min. After my rejection (confirmed by priceline) and was accepted. I received no information on this bid or acceptance. Last I knew... It had been rejected. So I went to Expedia.com the next day and paid more for tickets!

The only reason I found the problem was I went to pay my credit card on the airline tickets purchased thru Expedia.com (they were awesome by the way!) and found a $859 charge on my credit card from Priceline.com. Had I not done that and waited for my credit card statement, I would have never known of the charge til it was way to late!

After many hours on the phone with Priceline and speaking with very rude Customer Service representatives and managers - I was told their records indicate it was accepted and it was not their problem. Travel or lose the money. It was my responsibility!

They conveniently also have the airlines contracted so that they can't work with you either. Although Delta tried to help, they to were given the cold shoulder.

Beware - stay away for Priceline.com. There service is rude, inflexible, even when they make the error.
