I requested a hotel reservation for 2 nights in Chicago. When I went to submit my credit card no. It would not accept it as I did not have the ID no. On the back of the card. So the whole request was rejected. Priceline states that the second time I made the request it was accepted.
The problem with that is if I did not have the ID no. The first time I am not going to have it the second time. There was nothing from Priceline informing me that my request was accepted. I did no know that it was accepted until I checked my e-mail.
My requests were rejected because I did not have the credit card ID no. Priceline however, decided to process the card anyway. I would like to know what was the credit card ID no. Used in this transaction. I contacted Priceline after reading my e-mail later that day which informed me that my request was accepted. I sent the Customer Service Team an e-mail explaining my situation.
They informed that they are unable to change or cancel my reservation. I am aware that their policy is that once your request is accepted your stuck and that you can't change anything or receive a refund. I agree with this policy if is it is done in a fair manner. I hope that your services can help me in this matter.
Sincerely,
Joan Heuton
