After attending a Bridal Fair and entering a draw to win a trip, I was contacted by Ramada Plaza Resort. The agent that contacted us was Ralph Nikoi #496. We were informed that we did not win the trip at the end of the call but they were offering us a promotional trip.
The trip was 3 nights stay in Orlando, 2 nights on the cruise to the Bahamas and 4 nights stay in Fort Lauderdale. We remained on the telephone and listened to his offer that seemed to good to be true. After, he mentioned all the additional charges to reserve our trip and mentioned that we had to attend an information session on the resort, I asked if it was a timeshare presentation. He mentioned that he did not know he was only in the promotions department.
Once, he asked for our credit card number, we told him that we were not interested. Luckily, we did not provide him with any financial information. After receiving this call, I researched the company on the Internet and was glad to know that we made the right decision. It seems this company has scammed alot of innocent people and we wanted to share our story. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. It is very frustrating attending a bridal show and then almost being scammed afterwards.
