Booked a "surprise" hotel and what a surprise we got. You don't get the name of the hotel until it's paid so when I heard a Quality Inn I was ok until we arrived there. It was the dirtiest place I have ever been in. Anyway this is about Travelocity... After being in the hotel for one night I decided my family was not going to be there one more minute. Called Travelocity and spoke to a person that barely spoke English (their calls are answered overseas) they transferred me to a supervisor again language barrier! He said that he would call the hotel and see if he could terminate our reservation without being charged for the full 6 nights we were supposed to stay. Put me on hold forever and then disconnected. After 5 or 6 more calls and my morning being ruined because of all the time I spent trying to get some help I finally talked to a man who said no problem to leave but call back and make sure that our credit card was refunded. What a joke. I spent at least 4 - 5 hours on the first day of my family vacation dealing with this.in total I probably made 20 calls was put on hold a million times, transferred to different people every call and hung up on every single time. If you are going to sell to English speaking people then we should have the option to speak with someone who understands us. If you are going to sell a hotel you should make sure it is not infested with roaches and is clean and safe for families stay at. I cannot believe that a company this size would sell such a horrible product! Great way to ruin a family vacation. I will not recommend this company to anyone.
