We checked into the Budgetel located near Atlantic City. The woman at the front desk was very nice, however when we went upstairs to the room, we were appalled at what we saw. The comforter for the bed had stains and holes in it. There was dust and mold literally growing on the ceiling. The tv didn't work. The room smelled like an ash tray. And there were bugs flying around. When we decided not to stay, we went downstairs to the front desk to complain. We literally had only been in the room for not even 10 minutes. When we started to complain, and asked for our money back, the woman at the front desk called her manager. When he arrived, he was as rude as could be. She had already explained to him what the problem was on the phone, and when he arrived he played dumb and sarcastically said "so what's the problem." After about ten minutes of arguing, and him being completely rude, and stating "our policy says no refund" (he obviously couldn't speak English, nor could he prove to us there was a policy, because he had nothing to show for it) we decided to leave-without getting out money back. What ever happened to customer service? I will NEVER even think about staying at a repulsive Budgetel ever again. Huge waste of time and money.
