I went to Priceline.com after seeing they had an A rating with the BBB and tried their "name your own price" for a ticket to Honolulu HI. I typed in the name of the destination and clicked next page. On the next page were 3 departure destinations to choose from even though I already typed in my departure city and thought that was odd but chose my original one to begin with, this should have been a red flag to me, I had only one arrival destination which was in black and white Honolulu HI and I hit the next button but it stopped me because I did not click on Honolulu even though it was the only arrival I ever typed in. I clicked on it, I chose the insurance then entered credit card info etc, then hit "purchase my flight" and the negotiator told me they accepted my bid, but not to Honolulu but to Helena MT!!! I was panic stricken and used the back button and not one single mention of Helena just Honolulu with my black check mark plain as can be right there! I frantically found their phone number (buried deep within the website) called them immediately and it's been nothing but a horror show since. They insist I agreed to Helena MT even though I put in Honolulu HI ugh, really? Why would anyone would that?! Of course they took my price, it was approximately $200's more than a regular ticket would cost. Of course their only solution was to keep $180 of my money and apply $120 towards a new purchase AFTER the purchase was made. I kept the robot, I mean the customer service agent on the line and kept trying to bid on a flight to HI, of course by this time it was only full price tickets which meant I would be paying over $60 dollars of the original price of the ticket and getting stuck with what they would give me, meaning I wouldn't have a choice like I would through an airline. I decided to give up and just call my bank after getting no where with these scam artists. They sent me the so called page where I agreed to purchase Helena MT ticket, after they agreed they saw I checked Honolulu HI, but MY initials were not on it and therefore I didn't agree to purchase a ticket to Helena MT. No one is going to Helena, this is ridiculous. After 3 days of research and complaints going back and forth with this ridiculous company I found out as of right now they have over 3K complaints on the BBB, but yet they have an A rating. Very deceiving! I put in a complaint with my CC company and they're issuing me a credit for the amount Priceline stole of $180, however, I know for a fact that Priceline will fight this. Thankfully they do not have me agreeing to this purchase and thankfully there are over 20,000 complaints on the internet with stories similar or the same as mine. What a terrible company! Stay away!
