Travelocity does not help with missed flight that luggage made - Airlines

We booked a flight through Travelocity. We have used Travelocity many times as we travel quite a bit, or book friends and family through them. We made it to the airport in plenty of time but missed our flight by 2 minutes. We were held up in security by 3 different people 3 different times for 3 different reasons. The first one the 3 of us 1 adult and 2 children were a group so we had to wait for others to go through first, then shift change came and the new security person made us wait again to let the shorter line go through. Then the pilots and crew had to go through so he made us wait again. Finally we get to the screening area only to be told to wait again, because we were a group. Nothing was check in our bags and we screened ok we were just made to wait. No extra checking or anything. We missed our plane by 2 min. We went straight to the courtesy desk at the airport, and spent over an hour there and they determined we could buy tickets for the next day for 2000.00 each plus 150.00 extra for flight change. I logged in and found I could purchase tickets the day after for 350.00. I called Travelocity to explain my problem and to try and rebook. First of all the girl could hardly speak English, I could not really understand her and then when I had to go for a child emergency she wouldn't hang up so I let her go.
I called many times throughout the next week and got nowhere. I was told to call back and speak to a supervisor at a certain time, he was never there or in a meeting. I was told many times he would call me back, he never did. Customer service is the worst, and most cannot speak very good English to an English speaking person. I paid twice for tickets for a missed flight and had all companies blame it on each other and no help from Travelocity. My luggage made it to Hawaii so were could not have been late, but my kids and I had to go later, we were moving for medical reasons not for vacation. If my luggage could make it why could we not and why will no one from Travelocity call me back or try to help. Offering me a credit minus 450.00 for 2 certain flights that I will not probably use anytime soon is not help. This was from the airline and not Travelocity at first, Travelocity later issued the credit. So the next flights with that credit will cost triple when I go to use it and I can get them less elsewhere. Worst company I ever dealt with as far as resolving a problem. I will not ever recommend them again.
