I made a reservation online several days ago, and I got to a confirmation page that said my reservation had been made and that my payment had gone through. I thought I was good.
Then, a couple days later, I got a call from India. Several people, none of whom spoke much English, went over the minutia of my reservation with me for a significant period of time. At the end of the exhaustingly tedious call, I was told that my reservation would be made and that they would take care of everything.
The next day I got another voicemail from India. When I called back, I got someone with a different, but equally unintelligible version of what was supposed to be English. They told me that because my reservation had not been done when I put it through on the internet, that the price for the tickets had gone up $400. I asked them why I should pay $400 for a delay that was their fault, and I was put on hold to wait for a supervisor.
I waited on hold for an hour and 37 minutes. Then I hung up and called the main help number again. I got yet another Indian person who said that he couldn't do anything for me if I wasn't willing to pay the extra $400.
Don't book Travelocity. They will SCREW YOU OVER. But they won't be speaking English while they're doing it.
