NEVER use a booking site such as travelocity. My terrible encounter began right when I called the number thinking it was the number of the hotel and it was Travelocity instead. When I realized I wasn't speaking with the hotel I said I wanted to call the hotel instead to make my reservation but I was told in broken english by the person on the other line that I would save money by booking with them (this later turned out to be false, in fact I paid $17 extra by booking through them). The process took about 20 minutes even though it should have been about 5 minutes because I had to repeat so much for the person because we could not understand each other. When I arrived at my hotel, the reservation WAS NOT MADE. Since it was in another country, I could not call them that day because I figured the long international call would have costed a lot on my cell phone bill. Today I came home from my trip and called them back asking to be refunded for my money because they simply did not do their job. I now have to wait until tomorrow because they don't believe that I should be refunded because I didn't call them that day.
I will never use Travelocity again, it was an expensive headache and they ultimately didn't even do their job.
Notice how even the positive reviews have to do with them fixing their own mistakes?
