I made a reservation for my sister to visit my family over Christmas and the very next day she ended up in the hospital and is unable to travel. She is now in a care facility. I requested a refund of the ticket, but Alaska Airlines refused. "Their policy is to not make refunds due to illness". They offered me another ticket, but I have no need to travel by air. It is a worthless offer for me.
