My son, a college student in California, lost his phone in December so I ordered a replacement for him under my extended Verizon insurance plan (insurance company is Asurion) that costs me extra. The phone is a defect that the touch screen wouldn't respond frequently. My son still kept it anyway until in February, he was robbed in his room (with a police report) and lost the cell phone again. I then ordered him through Asurion again. After less than three months, he phone died, wouldn't charge up. My son is so busy these days for the final exams so I called Asurion but they refused to talk to me since I don't have the phone with me to "troubleshoot"? So, that's two-in-a-roll that we received defect replacements. I have been paying that extra insurance to Verizon for a full coverage and I believe I deserve a brand new replacement phone. Each replacement, I had to pay additional $50 deductible. Is there any class action against Verizon and Assurion? Contact me at [email protected] I am a GM employee that receive very minimum merit increase for the past 5 years and just had a 7% pay-cut starting May 1. I care any penny that people rip me off. Thank you.
