Non-refund / Prepaid minutes

My Father had a prepaid Verizon telephone. He died soon after spending Verizon $181.00. We attempted to obtain the telephone disconnected and also the $160 quit on his bill returned. Verizon declined, declaring when the whole quantity of the initial prepayment was still about the consideration, they might do it, but since a few of the cash was utilized, they CAn't reimbursement some of it. "It Is JUST $160.13, " they replied following the fifth telephone call.

WOW. They have to possess a large amount of othersis cash to toss around
