I have the same problem with MCI wireless. I got my cell phone last August and found out it is really my head ache. The first number they gave me was a long distance number if I call from my home. I tried about two weeks and was on hold for hours, and finally got a local number.
One week later, my phone was not working for a week and they could not find my account. From then on, they started to charge me two numbers. It was very hard to reach them.
Therefore, I wrote a complain letter and sent it to the address on my bill. Nobody cared. I have to send a letter to BBB and gave BBB the address on the phone bill. Two weeks later, BBB sent me a note and said they could not find the company with the address I gave them. Two month later, BBB found the company and MCI credited back for what they charged wrong. I still have lots of other problems. According to the contract, I should have 1250 free Minutes per month for $29.99. However, they only give me 250 free minutes and charge me every minute over that. I only make very few calls every month. But, they charge me $20-35 air minutes. My phone bill never showed the 1000 free minutes. Now, I am afraid to it to make any calls and even afraid to turn it on. The voice is so bad. Lots of time I could not hear clearly and the other side could not either.
