I had an extremely bad experience at the GolfSmith store in Tysons Corner in Virginia. I went back to exchange an unopened/new Golf Rangefinder. The client rep said he would have to give me a refund and I can use the refund for buying the product that I wanted in exchange. Since I had received a discount on the previous product, he said he will honor the same discount on the exchange too. Although, I paid the previous product in cash, the rep gave me a store credit. He then told me he can't honor the discount because he is not supposed to use the discount coupon for an electronics item. He then called the manager, a person by the name Doug Walczak. We had to explain the entire situation to him and he said he too can't do anything to reverse the refund. I tried explaining him that I was just looking at an exchange without any such complications. He started acting up and told me not to insult him by asking for solution that works for the customer. I finally had to buy the different model at list price when I had received a 20% discount on my previous purchase. I will never will go back to GolfSmith ever again.
