I went to the Golfsmith.com site because they recently opened a new shop in an area close to me in Lutherville MD. After a few minutes a pop up appeared congratulating me as a lucky number customer. It said that I won and could choose from one of three prizes by filling out the survey within a certain time frame. This whole thing seemed to be connected to Golfsmith and because of the newness of the store I figured I won a prize from the store (promotional). I caught on but unfortunately they aquired my e-mail and cell number... I did not complete setting up the account when their e-mail arrived at my work. I e-mailed and called Golfsmith informing them of the misrepresentation. I inquired if they endorsed this company on their site and the spokesperson was unaware of them and thanked me.
