We signed up for the Spring 2012 baseball league ages 10-12 for the city of Henderson. First game scheduled for 3/31. On 3/28 we were informed that because there were only two teams in that age group signed up for that season they would have to be combined with the North Las Vegas league. When both teams refused to travel that far and requested a refund it was denied and were toldin instead thatand there would be given for another sport within this year.
Last season umpires wouldn't show up and practice fields were unavailable. They continue to raise their fees and yet whenever there are problems no one accepts responsibility. There is no accountability, this is unacceptable. If you're considering this league I would advise you not to waste your time or money. $80-$100 in registration fees $10 membership if new $21 for uniforms... This of course all goes to NYS. Keep in mind as parents we're also out the money spent on additional equipment we purchased, gas money for weekly practices etc...
