My 12 year old son saved his money for several
months and received money for his birthday on
Sept. 4th, for an electric scooter. We ordered
through Yahoo because we believed these
merchants to be honest and trusted sites of
Yahoo.
Scooter arrived severely damaged. Front wheel
is warped. Scooter housing is scratched and
cracked in several places. Most of the packing
materials inside the box were crushed, yet
outside of box does not appear damaged.
Wrote email to company no response. Called them
all weekend, no answering machine. Called them
several times on Monday and was told, "tough
shit. If UPS won't pay for the damages, there
is nothing we will do."
My 12 year old saved $250 for this scooter and
it is damaged.
We contacted UPS, quite angry. They said no
claim had been filed by the shipper. They will
send someone out to get the scooter once they
receive paperwork. It will then take several
days and they will make the determination as to
whether they will pay for damages. One month later
no claim has been filed.
