My husband and I both have memberships at La Fitness, lewisville, Tx half of the time its alright but almost all the time there is something out of order. Either the sauna, or the whirlpool. Or the treadmills. The swimming pool is almost always freezing well around 50 degrees and we were told that it was always kept at 82 degrees.
The showers and locker rooms, bathrooms are pretty dirty! Hot tub is FREQUENTLY out of order. We wouldnt sugguest this place to any of our friends! When my son was visiting from out of state they wanted to charge usfor him to come like 3 times! We went to a diffrerent one and they let him come in free! Alot of employees are rude and uncaring. Nobody ever even tells you how to use the machines or for what.
UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY $30 FOR 30 MIN! Thats right, a buck a minute. They take forever to fix anything. I have had items stolen, while changing. And people use cell phones in the locker room all the time, even tho there are signs posted prohibiting it. And people sometimes wear clothes that they have worked out in and soaked with sweat into pools. Suits are absoloutely required! According to the rules but they dont enforce it. They dont care all they want is their money. No matter how unsanitary!!
