This is definitely a "no-customer service" company. Beware, and DO NOT sign a contract with them! They are so intent on getting new customers that they ignore their current members, and don't care if they are unhappy or not. They figure they have you on contract, which basically says you have to die to get out of it. It doesn't matter if they hold up their end of the bargain or not; you are required to keep paying and paying, and they don't respond to calls or letters of complaint.

I became disgruntled because it became so crowded that it would take me over 2 hours start to finish to workout, time I couldn't devote 3 times a week. Every time I was working out I would see salespersons parading through more potential customers. There were long waits for lockers (but you can pay $250 a year to get your "own" locker), showers, a space at the mirror, and eventually loss of amentities (tv's out for months, and the little things like paper towels, pencils, etc.).

After standing in line with a group of ladies in towels waiting for a shower last November, I finally had it. I called to tell them I was tired of the waits and lack of customer service, and I wanted out. They pushed me off to their "management company", who said I would need an "appointment" to talk to them. They offered me a date a week and a half later, because the person I needed to talk to only worked on Thursdays (what kind of bs is that)? I had a prior appointment, so they then offered me a "phone appointment" that same week. I accepted, gave them my home and cell phone numbers, and never received a call. This prompted me to write a letter a week later, reporting to them that I never received the call that was promised, and outlined why I was so unhappy and wanted to out of my contract. Needless to say, I never received a response.

After 2 more months of this company extracting money from my checking account, and 2 more ignored letters, the bank told me my only option was to close my checking account. I closed my account, and never heard anything back from them until June 6-1/2 months after my initial contact with them. They sent me a collection letter demanding over $1,300. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, which is still under review. When they responded to the AG's letter, they actually made up dates that they sent me letters and made phone calls. Naturally they didn't include these letters, because they were probably typing them up right after their response to the AG, backdating as they went. I have never heard of a company out-and-out lying like this. It is completely reprehensible! It is also so silly to make up dates they called me, because with Caller ID and voice mail, I know they are full of it.

After contacting this company by phone and being ignored, I never imagined that a letter to the management would go unanswered. When 2,3, and eventually 4 went unanswered, I was really at my wit's end. How do these places that have zero customer service stay in business? The only reason I can come up with is that they keep luring in new customers, and then they play hardball is you aren't satisfied, holding you to your 3 year contract. Do not sign a contract with this company!
