Where to start? This place is a sad, sad, dump. It's sad because it has potential but they have absolute morons running the place. First thing you see when you walk in is a 20-21 year old guy about 100lbs overweight. The main sales person is about 70 years old and about 60lbs overweight. The general manager was given his job by his dad, and he has absolutley no idea what he is doing. He did sales at the gym before he became manager so none of the staff have any respect for him (the only other job he has ever had was driving an ice cream truck-and he totalled it!) Not one person on the staff works out. So, they don't know what any of the equipment does. Henceforth, at least 30% of the equipment is down at any time. The only valuble staff at that club were David and Lisa Bohrer, but they have recently left and are starting their own gym. The gym is so filthy, I got a nasty infection on my foot that took 3 months and hundreds of dollars to heal. And it wasn't even from the showers! It was from the carpeted changing room (I would never use their showers, they have an ant problem). The cheap owner refuses to pay professionals to do any jobs, so he does them all himself and does them incorrectly. The lockers in the mens room need to be bolted down, but he hasn't gotten around to it. The lockers have fallen twice on two different elderly men and had to be rushed in an ambulance. One broke his collar bone. The owner, "Frank" said that guy was stupid and it was his own fault. It happened again, and guess what? They are still not fixed! Even though they are being sued. He also put the railings next to the hot tub backwards, and so many people have slipped and fallen. They try to sell you supplements, bars, and protein powder at full price that is up to 3 years expired and hope that you don't notice. They do not have one single male trainer and none of the trainers are certified. The head trainer is a known alcoholic and drug addict and shows up smelling of booze all the time. The reason she still has her job is because she was sleeping with the manager. I am very upset because I had been training with Lisa for over 5 years and she was abruptly pushed out even though she owns shares in the club. She was treated like dirt and she was the best employee they had. She was the only qualified trainer (besides her husband David) and was constantley busy. And instead of giving me my money back they want me to work with one of their untrained, unqualified trainers. I feel that would be unsafe. The club is already unsafe enogh as it is with all the filth and broken down equipment. I wish it would just shut down and give us our money back.
