I ordered a swimsuit in January and they promptly charged my credit card $86! After it had been 7-8 days, I sent them an email and they told me I had to wait 15 business days before I could ask for them to re-ship my swimsuit.
I waited the required days, called them and they said they would have to investigate it. Then a couple days later, they said they would reship my suit. I waited another 7-10 days and still didn't have it.
I called and emailed. Never able to get a voice, I sent email most times. They replied and said that my suit was back ordered and they expected it to ship in 2 weeks.
By early March, I still had no suit. I sent another email and was told my swimsuit was NOW back ordered for 2-3 MONTHS! I called repeatedly one day until I actually got a voice! I asked for a refund and they said okay. They took my information but when I asked for a confirmation number of my refund, they said I didn't need it and that it would show up in my next billing cycle.
Obviously, that didn't happen.By now, it is May (since I had to allow for the credit card billing cycle to go through). I called the credit card company and they said it has been too long for them to issue a credit from their end... That it has to be within 90 days!!!
I have been going round and round with these ripoff artists for a year now. I got a person on the phone in September who, this time, gave me a refund confirmation number. It didn't show up on my credit card statement in October.
I called again. I got the same person who put me on hold. When she came back she said, "Okay, I just credited your card and it should show up within the next 48 hours." I told her that I was told that last month by HER!!! She denied that she was the one I spoke with, but I had her name written down from the last TWO times I had called.
I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I got sent to some voice mail. That was in November. I haven't heard from them yet. I am filing a complaint at every level I can reach!!!
I work for a law firm and I am going to be writing them with a threat to sue and report them to the Attorney General's Office of Florida.
