I ordered and paid for one swimsuit on October 23 on their website. They took the money that day, according to my bank records. After a few weeks I tried to contact them via phone and internet site to see what was up. No response.
I tried again a week later. A few days later I receive an e-mail stating something about a back-order. A delivery date was promised, they were to send it directly from the Speedo Company. No suit.
In early December I go through the same process. Guillermo Diaz de Leon proclaims he has "researched my order" and yes indeed they owe me a suit. Says it will be dropshipped from Speedo. No suit.
Early January I send out two e-mails. Guillermo responds on January 12, says he "researched the order, " and they owe me a suit. I receive an e-mail from sales as well sayng they put the order in. There is an order-slip like thing in the e-mail, looks official says that the suit was ordered on January 12, requesting shipping on January 13 (a Sunday) via UPS Ground. Today is February 4th. No suit.
I am e-mailing them again with a link to complaint and to inform them I am contacting a local consumer advocacy group called "KCBS Call for Action."
Do you think I'll get my suit?
