Rainbow play systems - play structures for children - urgent!

Purchased a Rainbow Play System of South Bend of Indiana on Home Street. I have given the information to the Distributor which is Recreation Unlimited located in Noblesville, Indiana 46060. Before I explain the details of my case the contact who wrote me the unprofessional letter was Carey Riley of Recreation Limited at Tel.# 317.773.3545.
Our Carnival Model Rainbow Playsystem was purchased just over 2 years ago. Rainbow is sold as the top of the line elite play system for children and to be the safest. When the winter ended this year and the children (age 4 & 2) started playing on it we started to notice that they play system had been chewed by an animal. The animals has knawed and chewed on the wood and it's now splintered and destroyed.
I contacted our local Rainbow Dealer/Owner (Tom) on Home Street in Mishawaka, IN. The receptionist told me that they will not come out to see the damaged wood, but for me to take all the pictures and mail it all to them. I did as they said along with a letter and sent it "certified mail". After several weeks of no response, Tom told me they were waiting for the Distributors to come back with a decision. I could not believe how rude they treated me because when this was purchased I considered it an investment of approx. $3,000 and with the Lifetime Warrenty they would at least replace the pieces of wood, etc.
They have tried to blame my children for the damamge (my little toddlers) and told me they were not responsible for any of the damage. We did stain the system because it was looking so bad and the animals have chewed thru the stain. I was told by the California Redwood Assoc. That it is most likely squirrels sharpening their teeth. I could not beleive it, especially how I have been treated by a professional company and they will not do anything to resolve this problem. I cannot allow my little boys to play on it because of the terrible "splinters" they will get if they touch the wood. The damage is in different places. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and still could not get anywhere.
My next step is to meet with an attorney because this is a Consumer Law case. Please contact me if anyone has had this happen to them or if a lawyer is interested in this case. I am so disguisted because I thought Lifetime Warrenty and safety were what I was purchasing but know that animals are eating the wood, the company does not care.
They have not made one effort to resolve this problem. Along with an attorney I will also contact the Consumer Safety Association, as this is dangerous for children to play on equipment like this. They need to try and resolve this issue and be a professional company and "honor" their Lifetime Warrenty. When this was purchased I never thought in a million years that animals would eat this wood up. This is the finest play equipment on the market.
I hope someone can hep me and find others who have experiences this and have a class action lawsuit. They tell me they have never heard of this before and I can't beleive that? Any help would be appreciated.
