RVnUSA Deposit Ripoff
I made reservations for Thanksgiving weekend and this company was recommended to me by the campground owner as an honest and reliable RV Rental company located in Goshen, CA. I dealt with Ed, told the price, size, etc. All this was done via the phone. He just needed a $250 refundable deposit. No credit cards only cash but it would be refunded upon the return of the motorhome. It was picked up, and according to Ed, in great shape and the monies would be sent out the following week. I called in January '06 to find out what happened to the refund and was told that it was sent out the first week of December.
I told Ed I hadn't received it and he said he would call me the next morning to let me know what address it went to. He left a message on the answering machine that said "this is Ed returning your call." I called three more times and left messages and I even sent a letter asking for the return of my monies. This is April and he has not had the deciency to return my calls or answer my letter. I would seriously hesitate to deal with someone that does not live up to his word.integrity and honesty are apparently not part of his vocabulary.
