Products are constantly out of date. Ran in there this morning and they got me again.
Needed Coffee. Got to have my Dunkin, but I recently switched due to the price. $7.48 for DD, how ever a brand wally world carries is almost as good at $6 a 12oz bag... Last week Boom they raised the price to 6.88... Well I could buy the double DD bag for $13.98 at a penny a once diff I can afford the DD. Go back in there today and they had lowered the other brand back to $6??? Personally I think it was a mistake, either way it doesn't make me want to shop there.
So still thinking about the coffee I quickly run over to the Bacon and Sausage rack, scan prices all the bacon was closer to $4 a pack, some only 12oz's too? But Brand name breakfast sausage is only $2.64... I look and they only have Original and Honey. Honey? Maple, sure but they have honey, OK, I grab a Reg/Original. A Dozen Jumbo eggs and off I go. Only one Register for 20 items or less and there's bit of a line, but it's Saturday so all the other registers are packed... I wait in line, then I notice the two people in front of me are together and each is pushing the 20 limit max by 3-4-5 items... Just figures, I mention to my wife the other day how 3 times in a row this has happened in this store.
This is my 2nd time back since making that statement and you guessed it both times this has happened. There is a nice lady that runs the Self serve section, that has had e come over to her and rang me out, but that's a hassle too.
I refuse to use (Never had luck with them either) the self check out. I have seen and notified Security of people scanning one item and putting two in the bag more than once at Wally Worlds... They have someone watching, again someone usually incompetent or I wouldn't have to point out such things for them. Any ways I would rather be served than scrutinized myself, so I stick with the Check Out people ~ I'm not a ANT in the ant factory/maze. I'm always thinking and using those will soon eliminate jobs, I'm not for it. I care about people, it's not like Walmart wants to do that to pass the savings on to you, or there would be a discount for doing it... However I would also see through that scam and continue to use cashiers as I care about the same people I am complaining about...
So Again waiting in line, perplexed much longer than I should have too, it's a common occurrence at this Walmart. So again I say to my self how many times do you have to be abused before you learn, it's your own fault. I decide there's no reason to come to this store again. There's a FRY's right next to it, attached. There's other supermarket's closer to my house, and there's no less than 3 other larger more efficient Walmart's just a little further away. Yup, this is my last time here...
Nope I don't ever get that choice. Here's how, I get home make some of that coffee and start getting pans ready to have a nice breakfast and make my wife breakfast in bed. Now remember, when I left the house I hadn't had coffee yet and it was rather bright out so I had my Sunglasses on and not me real glasses. I ran through Walmart in a hurry for 3 items, probably took me longer to write about it than do it... Now I have my new $500 dollar glasses on and I'm under my own lights, that breakfast sausage looks a little brown??? So I look all over the package for the DATE, and sure enough it was past date last week??? Now I am forced to go back one more time to that dreaded and poorly run Walmart.
Oh remember I said it was Saturday, well they still only have 1 20 item or less register going, lines are crazy. People with full carriages and the lines are doing the Walmart curl into the close isles~don't buy those close btw, every little kid with grimed hands is wiping their hands, face and nose with them well they wait in line... The service counter where I have to go well it has one girl working it, and has 5 people in line ahead of me??? All this is what you have to go through to fix their mistake... So I wait, and I'm greeted with the same "Hi how are you", that Walmart employees use, it's very nice. However I'm not good right now and it's their fault. I tell her, I'm not good and this is the worst Walmart around here I'm never coming to this store again. I explain 5 times in a row they have aggravated me, while just trying to give them money, and now they have sold me old past dated meat, they basically tried to poison me. Her answer not how can I fix this, or I'm sorry let me get you some MEAT that isn't rancid. It was I think this is a very nice Walmart??? My answer to here, well you would, you're an employee and part of the problem I am talking about, I'm the customer and it is discouraging shopping at this store. Next answer "Well, I'm sorry you feel that way here's your $2.64 plus tax, next!
This is the type of service that you can expect at this store... It's loaded with happy go lucky stupid incompetent people, starting with Management or this wouldn't be an ongoing problem. Not as big a store as the others in the area, it has obviously slipped through the corporate cracks.instead of sending them a letter that would probably be Ignored, I decided to make a usacomplaints.com and tell the local people instead. Go to a different Walmart, one where the standards are higher. Sounds to me like too many employees at this one are getting 50% of their salary paid by the federal Gov~if you know what I mean, if you don't ask around to your local business owners and they will tell you what I mean. Let's just say there's a reason why Walmart can afford to put some of those people at the door, just to say HI~half their pay is coming from you! Loo it up!
