This company called and talked me into a subscription to one of my magazines. They offered a better price than I had been getting and assured me that this subscription would extend my already established subscription.

I knew that they were a 3rd party. This is not out of the ordinary and I have dealt with other such companies. However when I called the magazine directly several months later, they had no record of this extension. I was able to get an address and phone number for this company on the internet but was unable to actually reach anyone so I finally referred the matter to my credit card company and they are disputing it for me - thank goodness!
