Robin Martinelli uses high pressure scare tactics to get persons in a desperate situation to sign an expensive retainer agreement. She makes endless promises of thing she will do & then does almost non of them. She massively over charges for services. She took $20,000.00 & the only useful thing she provided was the name of a good attorney. She promised to set up a secure web site for the client to see reports of her investigations & interviews & didn't do it. She promised to get phone & texting records of an individual & didn't do it.
She promised to send a professional final report of her investigations & interviews & a copy of a police interview DVD to her clients & didn't do it. She took a large amount of photo & vidieo evidence from her clients & promised to organize it for court & didn't do it. The client's attorney had to force her to turn it over. She over charged for services. The client had a signed retainer agreement stating thr rate for automobile travel would be $. 60 per mile. She charged $1.00 per mile for an overcharge of $152.80.
She made a very expensive investigative trip to Michigan, at the client's expence, & took her teenage daughter along. She stated on multiple occasions, in front of several people, that she was only charging for her daughter's time, who she said was the "lead investigator", on the trip & not her own. She then invoiced for 30 hours of her own time on the trip for an overcharge of $4,650.00. She was notified in writing of the overcharges. She has not made any refund or responded in any way. She will not return phone calls. She also charged a massive $4,805.00 to "prep" for hearings for which she provided nothing.
Unless you want to be hugely ripped off of your money & get nothing to show for it, stay away from Martinelli Investigations.
