When we first met she had designated a specific place to meet which she did not know how to get to herself. That was unprofessional as far as I am concerned.
Then we both agree to sign an indipendent contractor's contract that states what I am to be paid and how often. It states that I will receive a check for my services on the Monday or Tuesday of the week following the next Friday after the services are rendered. For example, if I did some tutoring on a Saturday, I would receive a check for my services a week from the upcoming Monday or Tuesday.
She did not do that as stated. I should have received the check last Monday or Tuesday according to the terms. I called her during the week and she said she would send the check this last Friday.in addition she said I would receive an email when she sent the check. I have not received the check or any email indicating she has sent the check. I have tried to call her and she is refusing to get in touch with me about this.
