I signed up with this company and did not get the written information about this company until 30 days after I signed up. I had a dishwasher problem and they LIED about the cause of the problem to try to get it not covered. I was within the first 30 days of the plan and per the policy I attempted to cancel it for a refund and I was refused a refund, despite the terms and conditions stated in their booklet. I am referring this to the Federal Trade Commission.
The individual whom they sent over to my home lied about the cause of the problem so as to make the problem not covered under the warranty. He further lied and said he ran the water to show that there is a leak in the dishwasher—one problem with that lie—I have video surveillance and it shows him there the entire time doing basically nothing, certainly not running ANY water.
The call center was amass with non-English speaking people. I had to wait almost a week to get service and then they wanted to get another person out there in another week after they discovered that I had them dead to rights on video. This would have also allowed them to charge me another month.
I paid 120.00 for no service at all. I believe that this is part of a more sinister network who regularly denies claims. My booklet, for example, states that I am entitled to a refund within the first 30 days, "Risk Free" yet they denied my refund.
I will not stop until they stop taking people's hard earned money. I am considering calling the police as well. They did and said some things that are borderline theft by deception.
