Issued after told medication made me unable to agree to card issuance

In 2005 I received a phone call telling me that I needed to pay an old credit card debt. It was so old that it was about to fall off my credit report.

At the time I was under a doctors care for depression and taking meds. I told the man on the phone that I was not in any mental shape to even discuss the matter. He continued on telling me that a new card could be issued and the old debt would just disappear.

Now 7 years later the Tribute Mastercard (replacement) is still on my credit report even though the date shown is 2008 as being reported. I know that I was not capable of making any rational decisions at the time, I only know about the call because my grandson was sitting there and kept telling me to just hang up. He says I did without agreeing to anything.

I have medical records to back up my claim.
