On 1/3/03 I purchased an oven and refrigerator from Lowes in Asheboro, N.C. The total cost W / delivery was $2266.64 of which $40.00 was to be refunded to me through a rebate offer. On 6/29/04 I purchased a Werner ladder and was to receive a $25.00 gift card via rebate. I am still waiting for both! Interestingly enough the same day I sent in my rebate for the ladder to Lowes I sent $300.00 worth of rebates to HEWLETT-PACKARD and have already received all $300.00 back. I think the way Lowes rips people off is just a legal con game!
