I bought a product that I could not get access to because my password contained characters that the boxart system would not allow. Days later, after I had given up trying to log-in

I bought a product that I could not get access to because my password contained characters that the boxart system would not allow. Days later, after I had given up trying to log-in and bought a different product I was told that I could not get my money back. Even thou I had never downloaded any of their crappy products I would still have to pay.
