Reach Local is a scam ripping off small business owners. I came across them trying to swindle my friend who owns a business in Orlando, Florida. They tried to sell him Orlando SEO and how it would increase sales. Here is the quote the gave him:
" From my view I believe you would benefit from some kind of display campaign as well as our web presence tool called ReachCast. That would be about $2,500/month."
$2500/mo now this guy is a small business owner who doesn't even pay that in rent a month. You have a sales consultant working for reach local who tries to tell the guy how to run his business. It makes me sick that companies pay this to scam companies. I looked the guy up selling this reach local thing and he only had 36 likes on a fanpage for another customer that is paying $2500/mo. That is some results. I bet they get the money, and immediately the business owners want the money back and complain, and reach local goes immediately into retention. Okay - we will drop you down to $1200/mo or whatever. Why not? It is all profit! They are not doing anything to help you out, except set up a couple dummy sites for you that is a template that takes 5 minutes, and then put up a trackable 800 number.
Don't waste your money. Find a company like Orlando web that can do SEO for like a couple hundred a month and does the exact same thing reach local does, but better and for far less. - Mark Daniel
