Elens Kids, Cranford NJ ripped my family off... I was contacted by Elens Kids to have son come down for an interview. I spoke with Susan Soloway about my son and she said he would be perfect for TV and screen and print work.
I meet with Susan Soloway of Elen's Kids. She and her co-workers were pretty happy that I have come down.
She took us into her office and began saying the film and Tv industry is in need of little boys because their isn't that many cute one's like my son and that he can be very successful in the business with those cute freckles. She then bagan to show us all the clients who are working, like Alec balwins son on 30 Rock and the children from ETrade 's well as all the families and children that they casted for a Will Smith Film. It was very impressive everything she showed us. When I asked her if there were any fees to work with tem, she said not to work with us but there is a 599.00 5 yr photo fee. Every 6 months for 5 yrs my son will need to have new photos taken every 6 months and this fees pays for that plus when you go you will need to pay an 18.00 sitting fee. I asked repeatedly this is not a fee for your service, she said NO. I couldn't afford that at the moment so she told us we can pay $150.00 a month for the next 4 month if possible. I like a dummy agreed, my husband wasn't to happy. Elen's Kids, never contacted me to do the photo shoot in the 2 yrs I have been with them. I had to continue calling them. My son was called a couple of times at the beginning, but only made 2 jobs. One with The Sitter as an extra which he never was used and another with a photographer who promised a CD I never received. Ever since the last job he never was called again. I continue calling them asking for jobs, auditions and they never returned any of my calls. I had to submit them new photos all the time so they can be changed. When they finally contacted us they said there is just no calls for boys his age or size. Elen's Kids is a Rip Off in the worst way. They target children...
