I purchased a firearm 8 weeks ago and it was not what I ordered. Buds (Derek/GM) said to read the fine print - "the gun you receive may not be the gun you ordered." The gun is now yours, we will not accept it back - and this was 5 minutes after I first saw it at my local FFL.
I contacted Taurus and asked for advice, and once they had the serial number of the firearm they asked me to send it to them overnight via FedEx. Something felt off about the sale - I don't know exactly what - but it's been 7 weeks since Taurus received it, and now I'm going to get a full replacement. Taurus now says the photo Buds used was fake, and that the firearm was no longer in production.
I also logged in as a review member and entered my review, only to find that Buds only accepts 100% positive reviews - anything short of that gets filtered out. When I first heard of Buds I checked their reviews first, and their 100% rating was also fake.
I've made a lot of calls to Buds and they have not even attempted to resolve this issue. I will warn anyone who wants to do business with them - beware. For buyers who were happy with their purchase, I congratulate you. It's not all bad service, but it could improve a great deal. I would not refer them or ever buy from them again, and if I'm ever asked, I have nothing good to say. I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and once they return my money, maybe then Buds will want to talk. But I have nothing to say to you, and I hope you enjoy being put on hold and hung up on forever.
