Rapid Running advertised a half marathon in Buffalo, NY on June 30th, to finish on the 50 yard line of Ralph Wilson Stadium. They advertised this race as far back as December. Then on June 21st, they abruptly cancelled the race with no explanation, leaving hundreds that had booked airfare and hotels screwed. Upon contacting David Mason, the 26 year old frat boy race director, we were told that there would be no refunds given but we could transfer to another event. Yeah, like we have the funds to travel all over the country chasing his events. And... This isn't the first time they've did this either. They cancelled another half marathon in Wyoming back in February and refused refunds then as well. Rapid Running and David Mason are complete frauds, never trust them with your money.
