I was in Home Depot 6/7 in Beaumont, Ca. I purchased 2 gals of Behr, eggshell, prime based paint, custom color, My painting contractor put one coat of paint, and left it to dry over night.
I noticed after the first coat, it finished, eggshell and matt in different places and was streaky and did not look good at all.
I waited 24 hours and a 2nd coat was put on the wall.
2nd coat showed dull and eggshell in different spots. The existing paint on the wall being covered was EGGSHEll.
I HAVE used Beht paint ever since Home Depot started selling it.
I have used eggshell with primer ever since it has been out and never had a problem with Behr paint I have used. He said that it showed the paint was deffective.
My painting contractor advised me to take the paint back to Home Depot where I purchased it, and get a refund.
I just left home depot They told me that they do not refund money on BEHR paint, even though the paint was defective, and not that I just had whim to return it. But after a long discussion with the manager they funded me one gal of paint and told me to take the matter up with Behr paint, as they as the paint was defective
I am only asking for a refund for one gal of paint, as Home Depot is telling me that the paint was defective.
The paint was $31.28 a gallon
We have bought thousands and thousands of dollars from one Depot, remodeling several homes and find that the way that Home Depot handled this situation was certainly lack of Good Service and good customer relations
