My husband purchased a diamond white gold wedding set for my anniversary in which the diamond in the middle was a third carat stone. Later in months i decided to upgrade the solitare diamond for a half carat stone. So the ring was sent to replace the third carat stone to a half carat stone. I was told i needed to insure the ring and to have it appraised. So i took the ring to a appraiser, and was advised by the appraiser that he was not going to touch the ring from Don robertos, the appraiser advised me that i was ripped off from don Robertos just by his eye he told me the ring was not a half carat in width it was a third and a very poor quality stone for the amount i purchased the diamond for. I took the ring back to don roberts and which they did advise me the ring is a half carat in weight and that it did not matter of the width. I dealed with a sales person by the name of Randy who was not very cooperative. Nothing was not resolved with the ring and I am with a ring that is a third carat in width. I am sad that this company would take completely advantage of people in such a way.
