Took my money, and didnt respond to my calls, asking for an update, and proof of what work was done for the $ 888 that I paid them on Jan 29

Mayers, marrocco, and assoc. Promised to help me get money that was owed to me by a dead beat friend who owed my $ 3,000
They said that they need $ 888 to to proceed and start a lawsuit against my friend.
I (idiotically) sent them the $ 888 back in Jan 29 and havent heard from then since.
After several phone calls in the last few months, asking for information about the case. I still havent been contacted, nor do I have any information on what they did or didnt do with my $ 888.00
