Do not use! Recently, my 87 y/o mother had them move 9 items app 1 mile, then the driver told her she needed to give a $200.00 tip. Owner contacted, was willing to refund the $200.00, but now Rena runs interference and I am not allowed to speak with him. Refuses to call him on cel-phone and find out what happened to check. Says owner (Miguel) has nothing to do with claims. Didn't realize this was an insurance claim, but rather a problem with unscrupulous employees. It is a sad day that company employees ask for tips by coercing elderly women. I was not surprised to see so many complaints in so many different forums. Of
Interest was that Payless4movers is not registered with the BBB, except under previous names. So after locating the right company, there have been 16 complaints to the BBB in the past 3 years, 5 of which in the past 12 months. It appears that The Moving Company is also known as Payless4Movers and Payless Movers.
