I was in need of a job looking through the newspaper and what not when I saw the add throught the CONSUMER RESPONSE GROUP to be a MYSTERY SHOPPER and I thought I would give it a chance. I was deperate for a job! Anything I could get my hands on would be great and so I didn't really look much into it.
I called the One eight-hundred number and talked to a person who then told me that there would be a fee of $59.00 pluss tax. They actually ended up charging me twice. They had also offered me some kind of a phone deal which I refused over and over again.
Once I recieved everything in the mail, they had actually sent me a package that also contained some bartending tests. I called the company and let them know that they sent me the wrong package and they told me that a new one was going to be sent to me in the mail free of charge and to keep the materials I had aldready recieved.
Needless to say I never recieved the second package. I called yet again. This time the number I had originally acquired from the add in the paper was no longer in service.
This I thought was weird, but in the packet they had sent me there was a sheet for costumer questions, so I called that. That number was in service. I told them that by now it had become a waste of my time and that I would rather them return my money.
They told me that in my packet there was also a refund paper which I could send in and that my money would be refunded tome minus the shipping and handeling tax to my account. This was all around a month ago and I haven't recieved a refund.
I called my bank to find out what has been going on and they pretty much told me that I am going to have to fill out some papers and that they have to open a case. They also couldn't guaratee that I get my money back.
So after my phonecall with the bank I thought that I would try to find their web site or another contact number so that I could find out what was going on with my money, but instead I find this site which clears everything up. Hopefully I can get my $140.00 back.
