My son has a Magic jack and he told me about it. I ordered it and then after it came an e-mail ask me if I wanted to change my home # to it - Well I thought if people are going to call me I should do it.- They charged me $21.50
to do it. (it gets worse)
After they changed our home number - AT&T cut me off because of the transfer. I called them back and said I didn't want cut off - They said when I transferred the number I canceled them? And if I wanted to get my Internet back I would have to pay a $35 install fee. I told them to flip the switch and turn it back on. He hug up on me. I now have Comcast, I sent back the Magic jack because my husband couldn't hear on the phone. Wanted to get my number transferred back so I could use it on my Comcast line. Magic jack charged me $31.44 to transfer the number. They don't have anyone you can talk to - Only chat line and they do cut you off.
What a mess this has been. If you know anyone who is thinking about changing to them BUYER BEWARE
