Germantown Maryland Sold known defective product and to top it off WON'T TAKE CASH AT THE STORE

I went to Best Buy searching for a business plan software package. I found one that by the cover made a lot of sense for what I needed. When I got to the cash register, I was informed that the store did not take cash. No greenbacks, wampum, coins, Legal Tender coined or printed by the Government of the United States of America. Only credit cards and debit cards, screw you very much.

I was astonished and after making a fuss and waiting 15 minutes finally someone came and offered to take my cash THIS TIME. "But don't expect us to take it in the future."

Great, talk about not wanting business. Apparently they can afford to pay 1 to 3 percent of the purchase cost of goods for... What? No cash?

But just to top it off, the product I bought was defective. When I called JIAN to get support for my software (BizPlan Builder 2004) I was told by Hiedi in ther tech department that ALL THE BIZPLANS SOLD RETAIL HAD PROBLEMS. Great. They sent me a download to make the plan work. Unfortunately, IT DIDN'T WORK EITHER. When I tried to call the company (Jian) since, I have been disconnected or put into voice mail and have not heard from them for FOUR days now. I finally figured that being on the east coast, the only reason they answered the phones the first time was I called at seven-thirty AM west coast time. Probably a mistake that I got thru.

When I returned the software to Best Buy I was informed they would be happy to replace it, WITH THE SAME SOFTWARE. Now I may not be the brightest bulb, but if the manufacturer knows ALL the retail product being sold is defective, and there were seven or eight boxes of the software on the shelf when I bought my package and there are none now, do you really expect me to believe Best Buy has no problems with any other software?

According to Best Buy I miraculously was the first person to have a problem with the software. So how come Hiedi knew all the software sold retail was defective?
Best buy seems to be getting so full of themselves they have totally forgotten the customer. As a reminder to the executives who run Best Buy let me remind you why you are not there. It isn"t to make life a hassle, lie, cheat, steal and it isn't to commit fraud on a massive scale. Does the name Ken Lay mean anyhting to you? It does to the State's Attorney for the State of Maryland in Montgomery County.

They found my little tale of woe interesting. And just to make sure you get it, I am gong to insure this little piece of software fraud costs you thousands in legal fees and with some luck, jail time. You will not get away with commting fraud, selling defective products and conspiring to steal consumer funds with a manufacturer.
